Kukulkan, nestled in the vibrant Narvarte Poniente of Ciudad de Mexico, offers an authentic taste of Yucatecan cuisine that delights both locals and visitors. Reviews highlight the restaurant’s explosive flavors and welcoming service. Diners rave about the trapaca: the lime soup, chaya quesadillas, and the suckling pig taco, each dish celebrated for its generous portions and rich, well-balanced flavors.
Customer feedback underscores the charm of Kukulkan's ambiance, even if the space is compact. Al fresco dining under a canopy adds to the experience, making it perfect for warm evenings. Complimentary habanero beans and tortilla chips add an enticing touch to the meal. However, a minor downside exists regarding the bathroom's accessibility. Still, patrons, including Kathy Sanchez and Angel Garcia, attest to the fast and friendly service that contributes significantly to the overall dining experience.
Kukulkan stands out as an excellent choice for those craving Mexican authenticity. With every bite, it transports you to the sunny shores of Yucatan, making each visit a culinary journey worth reliving.

The food is super delicious! Anyone who's been to Yucatan would think this is the closest thing to the food there. Great service, fast and friendly!

I visited it on the weekend; it's an excellent place to eat Yucatecan food at a very good price. The place is somewhat small, but there are tables outside under a canopy, so it's worth a visit. As a starter, they offer delicious habanero beans and tortilla chips free of charge while you order your food. I had lime soup, chaya quesadillas, chaya agua fresca (you have to ask for the chaya agua since it's not listed on the menu), and for dessert, the poor gentleman. Everything was EXQUISITELY DELICIOUS, very similar to eating in Merida, Yucatan. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention their salsas; one is pure habanero (if you don't like spicy food, don't have it), and onions with or without habanero (I recommend the one with habanero since it's not spicy). The downside is the bathroom; you have to ask the waitress to take you there, and you have to walk behind the restaurant, and the floor is very slippery. But in all other respects I highly recommend it; the service and atmosphere are excellent.

Great meal, I ordered delivery and everything arrived well packaged and at the right temperature. The lime soup was great and the flavours were well balanced, something I have never had before but will certainly try to make on my own when I return home. The Mayan packet was a great portion size and the meat was cooked perfectly and very moist.

The food was delicious. I loved the horchata with coconut and the three-cheese cream. I ordered the cream in a package with three panuchos.

What I liked most was the suckling pig and chamorro taco. The service was good, the prices were in line with the quality, and the space was small.

Great place to eat Yucatecan delicacies, it has a local fondita style; It is the closest thing we have found in CDMX (we used to like Fonda 99 but very expensive and gentrified now that they changed location). They give you refried beans with habanero and tortilla chips upon arrival. They have packages (I order the one with 3 cochinita panuchos with lime soup) with spectacular and spicy sauce. I recommend the guava water. Good prices and good service, if you are from the southeast and miss Yucatecan food, this is the place.

A small place, but definitely worth a visit. The staff is very attentive and friendly, the service is fast, and the place is clean. The food is delicious. I highly recommend the three-cheese cream soup for cheese lovers; it's delicious. The cochinita is delicious, and the portions are well-served. As for the prices, they are very affordable. How nice it is to recommend places like this, great attention from all the staff, nice atmosphere with nice varied music, quiet area, it is easy to find a place in the nearby streets, there are tables outside with awnings, although it is more common for Uber and Rappi delivery people to arrive to pick up orders. As for the food, everything I ordered was delicious, they give you some delicious beans with habanero and tortilla chips for free, the second order would have a cost, they have great flavor in the cochinita pibil and delicious corn tortillas, onions with or without habanero. There are different packages at very good prices. I ordered an artisanal lemon water with chia that comes bottled and finally a Cenote that is delicious suckling pig with beans inside a very delicious bun-type bread, you can add delicious 3-cheese cream for 15 more. Thank you for the great attention, you are very attentive, fast and kind. I will definitely return.
